Good Christmas Presents For Dad

 

With a show of hands, who is here is guilty of giving there Dad a bad Christmas gift?

I know no one wants to admit it but we are all guilty of giving our Dad’s bad Christmas presents. So how many of you did raise there hands? If you don’t want to end up Santa’s naughty list than you better have raised your hand. In all seriousness, why is that Dad’s get such bad Christmas presents. Its like our brains shut off when it comes to our dad’s and we just go with every is the easiest and quickest thing (and I mean thing) we can find. For all us, let me start off by saying “We are sorry Dad for all the awful tie’s we have given you over the years”.

 

I think it is time for a change. I think this year we should put our heads together and find some good Christmas presents that all Dad’s would be proud of. What do you say, do you agree with? Yes, than lets see what we can put under the Christmas tree for good old dad.

The first step in finding a good present, is to think of what are father’s like. Yes I know our fathers are all different but at the end of the day we can all agree that they are all Men and they all like to have fun. If we can agree on that, than we should have no problem finding them some good gifts they will enjoy for more than just the time it takes for them to unwrap the gift, plaster a fake smile on there face and than put the gift in the pile that will never see the light of day again.

The second step in finding a good present is cost. All budgets are different and I can respect that but its been my experience that you can spend a lot of money on something and its crap and you do a little searching and find cool gifts that don’t max out the old credit cards.

Now that we have an idea of where to start let me give you a few ideas to get the old ball rolling for deal old Dad.

I know what your thinking, your dad already has a BBQ set but have you really looked at them lately.

Most Dad’s love to play golf and if it was up to them they would play every day or at the very least twice a week. But what’s the one thing they always complain about when they come back from playing golf, there swing. Last time I checked golf was supposed to be fun but I guess its only fun when you play good.
